What are cookies?

Cookies are small files, containing very basic information about a particular website and their users. A cookie keeps small pieces of information based on your visit to www.RCshipyard.com website.

This is mostly traffic information, the time you spend in the website and your VERY general location – for example your country or continent.

Cookies can’t be used to run any programs or deliver any viruses to your computer. They are not Viruses themselves either.

There are different types of cookies. When you visit a website with cookies, a cookie is downloaded onto your computer by your browser automatically. The next time you’ll visit the site, your computer checks for a relevant cookie and sends the information contained in that cookie back to the site.

Cookies are only associated with an anonymous user and his or her computer and do not provide any information that would make it possible to obtain the user’s personal info.

Websites use different types of cookies:

“Session Cookies”, which are temporary cookies that remain in your browser until you leave the our site.

“Permanent cookies”, which contain information that remains in your PC and allow the system to “remember” some of your preferences, for example: information about what browser you use, as this is the main information needed for the cookie to work.

“Non-permanent cookies” are those that only run for a single session, meanwhile you are visiting the site.

“Technical cookies” – those allow the user to navigate through the website and to use different options and services inside it. For example, they allow the web’s traffic control, data communication, identifying the session, accessing the restricted areas of our website, the use of the security elements or storage contents and sometimes also for showing or delivering photographs and videos.

“Third part’s cookies” – cookies from other companies that we use inside our web page. In our case services provided by Google Analytics, which that allow us to access statistical data about our website.

“Analytics cookies” – those allow us the analysis of the users behaviour inside the our website, for example: which pages they do prefer, how much time they spend on any a particular page. Such information allows us to know how improve our contents.

Disabling and Enabling Cookies:
